A one-of-a-kind sculptural set TRAPPIST is named after TRAPPIST-1, the ultra-cool red dwarf star and earth-like exoplanets that orbit it.

TRAPPIST is made from a blend of concrete and lava rock. Its fractured surface and contrasting tones echo the landscapes of distant worlds. These planters are meant to feel less like objects and more like fragments of space that found their way into your home.

This sculptural set features a classic ‘baby sphere’ planter and a micro-sphere.

It comes with a display rock and a stability platform. Both the stability platform and display rock are specially designed to elevate the whole system while creating a cohesive look. Unlike many of our sets and planters in the past, TRAPPIST is complete and ready to ship worldwide for the holiday season.

This set includes a FREE signed copy of my plant care guide “Leave it the F*ck Alone”

Both planters have carefully designed drainage holes.

All of our display rocks have holes drilled partway through to collect dripping water. The rocks and trays are felt-lined on the bottom to protect your furniture. The stability platform is also created in a way that collects excess water. I often leave the sitting water as this will be absorbed by the plant within a few days, and allows me to go longer without watering. But you do you.

*Plants not included. Which is a good thing because otherwise we wouldn’t be able to ship it outside of the EU. But since the set features two planters and a display rock, we can send it to you, no matter where you live. Unless you live in North Korea, then I guess we can’t ship it to you, but also, you probably shouldn’t be visiting our site. I hear they don’t like it when citizens use the internet.

Design:
Each piece is unique and handcrafted, meaning no two are the same. Cracks, pores, and tonal variations are what make each set special and intentional. You can display TRAPPIST with the plants of your choice or as a standalone sculptural object. Either way, it will bring a sense of cosmic presence to your space.

A white concrete base blended with ash-grey concrete and natural black lava stone inclusions.

What you are getting :

TRAPPIST comes with a STARDUST CATCHER and a STABILITY PLATFORM.
The STARDUST CATCHER keeps soil neatly contained while allowing airflow and proper drainage, and the STABILITY PLATFORM grounds the sphere planter.

Material:
Concrete, volcanic lava rock. 5kg in weight

Care:
Suitable for indoor or sheltered outdoor spaces. Clean gently with a damp cloth. The material is porous and designed to age naturally.
