Phobos is the larger of Mars's two moons. It circles the planet three times a day and is slowly falling toward it. PHOBOS is a smooth dark sphere of concrete and lava rock, the lava breaking through at the top, with a small weeping fig standing on its roots above it and wild grasses at its base.
Each sphere takes several weeks to make by hand in Berlin. Some of the plants in this collection have been growing for three to five years.
Collection: WANDERERS, no. 1 of 9. One of one.
Materials: concrete, lava rock
Sphere: 18 cm diameter, with drainage hole
Plant: weeping fig, wild grasses
Care: bright indirect light and steady watering; the fig drops leaves if moved around too much
In the box: dripping tray and a handwritten note signed by Adam
Delivery: comes planted, ships within Germany only
