Comet McNaught, the Great Comet of 2007, spread its tail across the southern sky like a fan. MCNAUGHT is a sphere of concrete and lava rock with pale mineral streaks like the map of another planet, with an asparagus fern fanning out of the top.
Each sphere takes several weeks to make by hand in Berlin. Some of the plants in this collection have been growing for three to five years.
Collection: WANDERERS, no. 9 of 9. One of one.
Materials: concrete, lava rock
Sphere: 18 cm diameter, with drainage hole
Plant: asparagus fern, a few seedlings
Care: bright indirect light and evenly moist soil; the fern drops its needles if it dries out completely
In the box: dripping tray and a handwritten note signed by Adam
Delivery: comes planted, ships within Germany only
