LULIN

Comet Lulin glowed green as it passed Earth in 2009. LULIN is a dark sphere of concrete patched with raw lava rock, on its own pedestal, with an asparagus fern rising out of it in a soft green cloud.

Each sphere takes several weeks to make by hand in Berlin. Some of the plants in this collection have been growing for three to five years.
