BARNARD is a two-planter sculpture set inspired by the red dwarf known as Barnard’s Star. This mysterious star is represented here by the combination of two of our smallest planters. This set features a mini-sphere as well as one micro-sphere. They are displayed on this specially designed display rock

Both planters are created with a mix of concrete and lava rock, combining natural roughness with sculptural simplicity. The surface reveals organic fractures, mineral textures, and tonal variations that give each piece its own distinct character. They each have drainage holes to allow water to pass freely while keeping your roots nice and happy.

This set includes a free signed copy of my plant care guide “Leave it the F*ck Alone”

BARNARD

Design:
The contrast between concrete and lava rock gives BARNARD a tactile character and adds an otherworldly touch to your interior. The lava rock base anchors the two spheres visually and physically, allowing them to be displayed together as a single sculptural piece.

Color:
White concrete base with light grey patches.

What you are getting :

Two Planters and one display rock.

The larger planter contains our one-of-a-kind STARDUST CATCHER. This is a specially designed net-covered drainage hole that keeps soil neatly contained while allowing proper drainage.

The display rock is shaped to give the spheres a secure base on any surface, ensuring it stays in place. The rock itself has holes drilled partway through to collect excess water. The bottom of the display rock is lined with felt to protect your furniture.

Material:
Concrete, volcanic lava rock. 5kg in weight

Care:
For indoor or sheltered outdoor use. Use a liner if planting directly inside. Clean gently with a dry brush or cloth. The surface is porous and will naturally develop a patina over time.
