Rediscovering Plants
by Blagovesta :)
Plants don’t just sit still and look pretty, they have different uses in different cultures. Sometimes we do not know that the objects we see daily have a plant origin, and we are more connected to nature than we initially thought. Nevertheless, we (as the huge plant lovers we are) want to include them even more.
Do You Want Less Intruders and More Beauty?
Often, fences are very ugly and ruin the garden's overall vibe. This is why some people have chosen to use cacti for protection. They are both prickly and beautiful, so why not? If the climate where you live doesn’t allow for sustainable cacti growth in your garden (not everyone has the privilege of living in a warm place), a rose bush or any spiky plant can do the trick. This way, you can make your garden or windowsill pretty while also making it safer.
Are You Searching for a Never-ending Beauty Products?
There’s a reason why the beauty community loves aloe vera. Sunburn? Use aloe vera. Nourishing for hair? Aloe vera. Dry skin? Aloe vera. As long as it has light, it's easy to grow indoors, and you’ll always have a beauty remedy. If you live in a place without much light, you can find information on how to overcome this in the book ‘Leave It the Fuck Alone' by Adam Cotorceanu, and if you fill out the survey, you will receive 15% off.
There are some essential things to consider, though. People can be allergic to aloe vera, which can exacerbate skin problems instead of fixing them. Also, even if you are not allergic at first glance and can put it on your skin without problems, the plant may be harmful if you eat it, so proceed with caution. If you are sure you want to have issues with that, remember to harvest the gel from the aloe vera after it matures.

Have you ever hiked for a long time without any napkins to add to the situation? It happens more often than you think, and that’s why, through trial and error, people have discovered plants that can be used. Mullein, aka cowboy’s toilet paper, aka the tourist‘s dream, is a plant with soft leaves found in Asia, Europe, and Africa. So, you’re covered on basically 3 out of 7 continents. If you want to fully commit to living sustainably, you can even start growing the plant in your own home. As long as it stays alive, you’ll have an unlimited source of toilet paper.

Do You Want to Start Cooking New Recipes?
Asian cuisine is becoming increasingly popular and preferred in the Western world, and for good reason. It is delicious and usually easy to prepare with the right ingredients. Bamboo is one of the main ingredients, and understandably so. It grows very quickly, requires no special attention, and, when prepared correctly, has a delightful flavor. You only have to be careful about cooking it properly, as raw bamboo can be toxic to humans.
Overall, you can always integrate some plant life if you want to take action. We do not need technology and innovation to accomplish things because nature has provided us with everything we need; we need to find the answers.
